‘Widescreen’ photographs

(Just in case any of you haven't noticed this feature of the blog…!)

A long time back, I started doing ‘widescreen' versions of most of the pictures on this blog. Most of the images are cropped to 450 pixels wide and 318 pixels high to fit the layout of the simple WordPress ‘theme' that I currently use. These days, however, I link most of the pictures to ‘widescreen' versions which are typically 900 pixels wide and 450 pixels high. If you click on the smaller image, a new window should open up to display the bigger picture.
