Weight Loss Progress – Week 14

[Oops – I’ve been getting my calculations wrong. I’ve corrected the figures (hope they are right now!) 😳 ]

I started this year weighing 220.0 pounds (15 stone 10.0 pounds, 99.8 kg). Last week, I weighed 208.1 pounds (14 stone 12.1 pounds, 94.4 kg). This week, I weigh 207.4 pounds (14 stone 11.4 pounds, 94.1 kg). That’s a loss of 0.7 pounds, or 0.3 kg. Total weight loss so far is 12.6 pounds or 5.7 kg (14.8 pounds, 1 stone 0.8 pounds, or 6.7 kg since Christmas).

My original waist measurement was 45″, last week it was 39.5″, this week it is still about 39.5″. That is a total loss so far of 5.5″ (all rounded to nearest half inch).

I did a very hilly 24 mile bike ride and a hilly 2 hour walk.

I went over my alcohol quota again this week, yes more than the new limit. When is a limit not a limit? When you ignore it.

I’m going to stop listing any food treats unless I give way to temptation and have a real binge. I didn’t last week! In fact, food wise, I haven’t had any really bad weeks this year so far.

Verdict on week – food intake good, not enough exercise, too much beer, must do better.

Nearly time for another carton off my OJ-ometer – only 0.3 kg to go!


Here’s another indication that I’m getting slimmer. I was setting up my webcam for the weekly ‘fat belly shot’ when I accidentally took a picture of my arm. I’ve just noticed how loose my wristwatch strap is. In January, when I started this blog, the strap was uncomfortably tight and I was thinking of letting it out another ‘notch’! 😉
