Stroll Through Heptonstall Quarry

Nothing exciting to report – just a stroll up to Heptonstall with Lisa via Heptonstall Quarry. There were a couple of climbers getting ready to scale the rock face as we went by. It looks fun, but it is not for me – I have no head for heights!

As usual, we called in at Towngate Tearooms and this time the waitress tried to guess our order. I think we are getting a bit predictable! Actually, we were in a bit of a hurry so we didn’t have time for a chip butty though I did fancy one. We just had a coffee each and shared a toasted currant teacake.

I left Lisa in the village and strolled back into Hebden Bridge via Heptonstall Road and The Buttress. I bought a few things from the shops and got some money from an ATM to take on tomorrow’s CycleChat forum ride. The forecast is good and I’m looking forward to it.
