Stroll #1

I’ve decided to just call my short walks ‘Strolls’ in future but I’m not going to go back and rename the previous ones.

I’ll include just enough detail that someone could do the stroll themselves if they want to.

Today’s stroll in the sunshine with Lisa was: Hebden Bridge, canal towpath (heading east), Midgley Road (Mytholmroyd), Burnley Rd (west), Caldene Avenue, Thrush Hill Road, Nest Lane, Park Lane, Wood Hey Lane, Wood Top Road, canal towpath (west), Hebden Bridge. It’s just over 3 miles with one small hill. Plenty of nice views and easy going.

We saw lots of wildlife, including this curious fella…

Horse in field

It has struck me in the past couple of days how green everything looks now. These wooded valleys look great at this time of year, a real contrast to how bleak they can be during the winter.

We had our traditional cafe stop at ‘Innovation’ afterwards.
