Road Ride – Haworth Loop
I managed to get a quick road ride in after my weekly trip to Hebden Bridge market this afternoon. It was lovely and sunny, but there was a cold westerly wind blowing. I didn’t have time to go far so I decided to just nip over to Haworth and back. No photos today, folks!
Route: Hebden Bridge, Cock Hill, Oxenhope, Haworth Brow, Lees, Haworth, (nearly to) Stanbury, Lower Laithe Reservoir, Penistone Hill, Oxenhope, Cock Hill, Hebden Bridge.
I felt pretty good today. My weight is slowing dropping again, and I’m getting steadily fitter so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just need to make sure that I keep going as we get deeper into autumn, and then winter.
Ride stats: 19.3 miles, 2,600 ft of climbing (31 km, 800 m)
