Progress Report – Week 54

I’ve been off the beer for a few days now and am starting to feel better. It’s early days in terms of helping me lose weight, but I know from repeated experience in the past that if I exercise regularly, I will now start losing 1-2 pounds a week.

I am now 15 stone 1 pound (211 pounds, 95.7 kg). Overall loss since starting blog is 11.7 pounds (5.3 kg).

No change to the OJ-ometer this week!

  1. I’m on a diet too. Can I just say that I hate dieting!

My weights very close to yours and i’m a short arse.

  2. I’m astounded Jon!

Either you’ve put a lot of weight on since I last met you (dashes off to find link to photo)…

… or you carry it remarkably well! I’m sure that your body fat percentage is a lot lower than mine though and you make up for it in muscle!

  3. The year I wasn’t really drinking due to being ill I lost my excess weight. I was a lot faster up hill but apparently less cuddly! I would like to be down at that weight for racing in the summer, but in the winter I am happy to weigh a little more – although at one point that little was becomming a bit too much.

Sure you’ll drop the weight not problem, lots of riding now the days are getting longer!

  4. I wouldn’t mind putting on 5 pounds or so in the winter from a ‘racing weight’, but I put on about 7 pounds from a weight where I was already flabby!

Never mind – yes, it will come off steadily as long as I get more exercise. I had intended to do another gym bike session this afternoon, but loads of things distracted me. I’m hungry now so I’ll have to go and eat and it is rare for me to feel like doing anything for an hour or so after eating. I’ll see if I fancy getting a session in at about 8:30 pm (probably not!).
