The damn cookie thing … Yes, this site uses cookies! Pretty much *ALL* sites use cookies and there is nothing sinister about them. The cookies my site uses are mainly used to enable me to get commissions if you buy stuff through my links. The EU brought in laws saying that we have to tell you about the cookies., so I have done. I suppose at some point, I will have to use a cookie to store whether or not you consent to the cookies, but I'll have to work out how to do that later!

The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) in the USA has just introduced tough new regulations concerning the promotion of products in blogs. I'm not sure that these regulations apply to me because I am a UK resident, but I support what those regulations are trying to achieve which is to weed out those unscrupulous people trying to rip off the unsuspecting internet public. I am therefore quite happy to make the following declaration:

I receive commissions on the sales of the products that I review in this blog. In particular:

ColinJ is a participant in the Amazon Europe S.à.r.l. Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk/javari.co.uk.

and…

ColinJ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com/endless.com.

You should bear this in mind when deciding whether to purchase anything via my promotional links. I don't make outlandish claims for what I promote. If I receive free products to review, I will tell you when that is the case.

Regards,
ColinJ
