Stroll – Mytholmroyd

I went for a quick stroll with Lisa and Maisie today out along the Calder Valley Cycleway and back along the Rochdale canal towpath. It was a lovely day and it should have been a fine walk but yet again we discovered that long stretches of the path were covered in dog crap.

Stroll – Heptonstall Quarry

After yesterday’s grey drizzly day, I woke up today to beautiful blue skies!
There was lots to do today, but I couldn’t resist going out for an hour for a quick stroll. I decided to walk up to Heptonstall and return to town via Heptonstall Quarry.

Walk – Rawtenstall Bank, Turret Hall

I finally dragged myself away from the computer and out of the house today. We had blue skies here earlier so I’d arranged to walk ‘the long way’ to the shops with Lisa via one of the many local hilly paths.

Stroll – Mytholmroyd and Back

The weather was okay today – not too cold and we even had some sunshine. I decided to go for a little stroll with Lisa. Just one of the usual short ones – to Mytholmroyd along the Calder Valley Cycleway and back via Nest Estate and Crow Nest Wood.

Walk – “And when they were up, they were up…”

Apart from nipping out to the shops a few times, I’d been hiding from the cold weather since the walk to Todmorden on Monday, but it was a lovely crisp winter morning and time to get outdoors again. I rang Lisa and arranged a walk with her…
